Parivision is a Dota 2 esports team we worked with in 2025 for The International 14. The project was an intro film built around speed, reaction and the pressure of competition, connecting the team’s performance with the world of Formula 1.
We received the brief at the end of July, with production starting in early August. We had just two weeks to deliver around 20 VFX and CGI shots, including animation, live-action integration and on-set supervision.
The main challenge was keeping the production fast and efficient without compromising on quality. A fully traditional VFX approach would have made the project significantly more expensive and time-consuming, so we introduced AI into parts of the workflow.
Instead of relying on pure AI generation, we first built the scenes in 3D, set up the lighting, materials and composition, and then used AI to bring selected shots to life. This gave us much more control over the final look while allowing us to move faster.
The production combined Cinema 4D, Blender, Redshift, Cycles and After Effects. We also captured our main character using on-set photogrammetry, then rigged the resulting 3D asset and integrated it into the shots. In several scenes, this allowed us to replace live-action footage with full CGI while keeping the production flexible.
In just two weeks, we delivered the complete film for Parivision’s TI14 campaign, combining traditional 3D and VFX production with AI-assisted workflows.
