Our team took full creative direction for the Meteor Madness announcement, transforming a high-energy toy concept into a cinematic space odyssey. Instead of just animating, we built a vibrant, story-driven world that makes the heroes and their universe instantly engaging and memorable

GOO JIT ZU 2026 /

behind the project

For the launch of Goo Jit Zu’s Meteor Madness toy line, we were brought in to help shape the production from the shooting stage through to the final post-production.

Our role started with helping the production team determine the best way to shoot the toys and hands on camera, including positioning, framing and practical setup. We also contributed to the creative direction and art direction, defining the visual language, colours and the balance between 2D and 3D elements.

In post-production, we handled the full rotoscoping and compositing of the footage, using Rotobrush in After Effects for the main roto work. We then combined AI-generated backgrounds with animated 3D elements created in Cinema 4D, bringing all the different assets together into a cohesive visual world.

The result is a playful and energetic toy commercial designed to match the character of the Meteor Madness range. It was a particularly fun project for us, combining VFX, 3D animation, AI-generated visuals and compositing to create the kind of colourful and entertaining visuals we love making for the toy industry.
