In the world of VFX, CGI, and high-end video production, "creative" is often used as an excuse for "chaotic." At Lynx and Bear, we believe that the best creative work doesn't happen in chaos—it happens within a high-performance framework. We’ve traded the guesswork for a transparent, engineering-grade pipeline. Here is how we use project management to ensure your vision is delivered on time.
How we work: A simple look at our process for delivering creative projects on time and without surprises

Lynx and Bear Production Framework

Before we render a single pixel or snap a shutter, we align. Every project at Lynx & Bear begins with a Project Charter. This isn't just a kickoff doc - it’s our shared "Source of Truth."

Why it matters: It defines the "What," "Why," and "How" of the project. By locking in goals, stakeholders, and success criteria early, we eliminate the "I thought we meant..." conversations three weeks into production.

The Result: Total alignment from day one.
1. The Project Charter: Establishing Your "North Star"
A complex CGI sequence or a multi-location shoot can feel overwhelming. We tackle this by using a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). We deconstruct your project into manageable, transparent "work packages."

Instead of a vague "VFX Phase," you see a detailed breakdown: shooting, editing, modeling, texturing, rigging, lighting, compositing and so forth.

The Benefit: This level of detail ensures no hidden task goes unnoticed, giving you and our team total transparency. You see exactly where your budget is going.
2. Work Breakdown Structure (WBS): Deconstructing Complexity
We don't believe in "trust us, it's coming." We provide our clients with a Gantt Chart or a detailed Milestone Timeline that serves as a live pulse of the project.

  • Visual Transparency: You can see the "Critical Path" — the specific sequence of tasks that must happen to meet your deadline.

  • Resource Allocation: We manage our team’s schedule so that when your project is ready for editing, our best people are ready to start immediately.

  • Your Checkpoints: You’ll know exactly when your input is needed, so you can plan your schedule around our review cycles.
3. Gantt Charts & Milestones: Real-Time Pulse Monitoring
Production is unpredictable. Render farms can go down, weather can ruin a shoot, or files can corrupt. The difference at Lynx & Bear is that we don't wait for things to go wrong.

We use Risk Management techniques to identify potential bottlenecks before they happen.

The Safety Net: For every high-stakes project, we maintain a risk register with pre-planned mitigation strategies (our "Plan B").

No Panic, Just Pivot: If a problem pops up, we’ve already got a backup plan to keep things moving without missing a beat.
4. Proactive Risk Management: Planning for the "What Ifs"
The relationship doesn't end when the file is downloaded. We know that once you start integrating assets into your platforms, questions might arise.

That’s why we include a defined Service Support Period to all our projects.

Technical Peace of Mind: Whether it’s a slight format adjustment or help with technical implementation, we stay in your corner.

Partnership, Not Just a Transaction: We ensure the final product doesn't just look good in our studio, but performs perfectly in your world.
5. Post-Delivery: The Service Support Period
We’ve combined the soul of a creative boutique with the brain of a project management firm. Whether it’s CGI, 2D graphics, video editing, or a complex photo shoot, our process ensures that your only surprise is how easy it was to get to the finish line.
