VFX Studio
Lynx and Bear is a creative production studio with hands-on experience supporting VFX production for independent films, mid-budget features, and commercial cinematic projects.

We operate as a VFX production partner rather than a traditional "outsourcing vendor". This means we integrate into production workflows, align with the film’s creative and technical requirements, and support both supervisors and producers throughout the full post-production pipeline.

Our goal is simple: make VFX production predictable, structured, and manageable for film teams without adding unnecessary overhead.

How Lynx and Bear Work as a VFX Production Partner

We adapt our workflow depending on the scale and complexity of the project, but the structure stays consistent across productions.
We typically work with industry-standard production tracking and review tools:
  • ftrack or Flow (ShotGrid) for task management, and shot status control;
  • Frame.io (optional) for review, feedback, and versioning;
  • Client-provided or project-specific review platforms if required.

For data exchange and delivery, we support multiple setups depending on production requirements:
  • FTP servers for final delivery and heavy data transfer.
  • Or structured synchronization via our internal corporate Google Drive system when appropriate.

We align the pipeline early with production teams to define:
  • Shot structure and naming conventions;
  • Versioning rules;
  • Approval stages;
  • Delivery formats;
  • Feedback loops and review cadence;
  • This reduces friction during production and prevents fragmentation between departments.

Workflow &
Production Pipeline

We treat production security as a core part of the workflow, not an optional layer.
Every project is handled under strict confidentiality rules:
  • Standard NDA agreements are signed before any production begins;
  • All external freelancers and collaborators operate under individual contractual agreements;
  • Access to project data is controlled and limited based on role and necessity.

For remote workflows, we enforce baseline security requirements:
  • Mandatory antivirus software on all production machines used by remote artists;
  • Controlled access to shared assets and project directories;
Depending on the client’s internal security standards, we can adapt additional protocols such as restricted access environments or isolated project servers.

Security Standards &
Production Safety

Lynx and Bear operates as a flexible production unit capable of scaling based on project needs.
We can expand teams up to approximately 15 people, including a curated network of freelancers across Serbia and the broader Balkan region.
Team scaling is always project-dependent and aligned with:
  • Production budget;
  • Timeline constraints;
  • Security and access requirements;
  • Technical complexity of the shots.

Core supervision is always handled internally.
All VFX Supervisors involved in production are senior-level professionals, responsible for:
  • Shot validation;
  • Technical direction;
  • Quality control;
  • Communication with production teams and directors;
  • Freelancers are integrated only under clear supervision and structured task breakdowns to maintain consistency across shots.

Team Structure &
Scaling

All software licenses and third-party tools are handled on a per-project basis.
This means:
  • Licensing is defined based on production scope;
  • We ensure compliance with studio or production requirements;
  • No shared or ambiguous licensing setups across unrelated projects;
  • Tools are selected based on pipeline compatibility and delivery standards;
  • This approach reduces legal and technical risks for production companies and ensures clean handover of assets.

Licensing &
Production Compliance

We support full-range VFX production for film and cinematic content, including:
  • Compositing (multi-pass, plate-based, and CG integration);
  • Cleanup work (wire removal, set cleanup, object removal, continuity fixes);
  • Matchmoving & Camera Tracking (including complex handheld and VFX-heavy plates);
  • 3D Production (modeling, shading, lighting, and rendering);
  • Animation and Simulation (where required for shot-specific needs);
  • Photogrammetry and Environment Reconstruction for realistic set extension;
  • Complex CG integration for Cinematic Shots.

We specialize in invisible VFX as well as stylized cinematic work, depending on production needs.
Our focus is not just execution, but maintaining continuity between:
  • On-set footage;
  • Director’s intent;
  • Final composited image.
